Group Therapy SOTP
San Juan County Jail has a contract with the State of Utah to provide Sex Offender treatment to state inmates who have been convicted of felony offenses. Treatment consists of inmates attending group therapy sessions, where they complete structured workbook assignments, addressing their sexual deviancy. Assignments are presented to group members and therapist within a group setting. Inmates are required to attend group therapy sessions twice a week. Each group therapy session is two hours and is facilitated by a licensed therapist.
