Welcome to Blue Mountain Academy Recycled Art This class is designed for the benefit of any student that is looking for a way to express their talents and ideas through building and creating projects out of newspaper, cardboard and toilet paper. This class is a part of the Blue Mountain Academy of the San Juan County Jail Education Center (SJCJEC), where the student can create items, such as: picture frames, jewelry boxes and toilet paper roses al l of which are made out of recyclable materials. The curriculum in the program has been designed to make the experience just as educational as it is fun. The projects that are made are either donated to others in need, given as a gift to those individuals or supporters of the SJCJEC who make contributions to the San Juan Foundation, sold to anyone who wants to by the items, or the student may also send them home for presents.
