Welcome to BMA Literature. This course should help the student get a good overview of literature. It does this by using short stories and poetry to illustrate different genres, elements, styles, themes, etc. of literature written in diverse times and places. Emphasis is placed on the relationship of the student to the literature. Most assignments are interpretive in nature, asking the student to use his experience to form an opinion on what he’s read and explain it in literature of his own making.
