Monticello, Utah June 7, 1949

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in regular session in the Clerk's office. All members and the Clerk in attendance.

Mr. Earl S. Stevens of the Fish and Wildlife Service informed the Commissioners that the government required that a Government appointed man handle the Compound 10-80 used for Rodent Control.. and asked if the County would be willing to pay a man for two months for doing this work. It was moved by John D. Rogers and seconded by J. W. Growley that the County pay a government trapper to do the Rodent work, for the months of July and August at $250.00 per month.

It was voted unanimously to appoint R. A. Holden as road supervisor at a salary of $240.00 per month. David L. Guyman was made assistant Supervisor at $225.00 per month.

Minutes of Equalization Board meeting of May 28 read and approved.

A motion was made by N. W. Sitton and seconded John D. Rogers and carried unanimously that the salaries of the carry over officers (county) remain the same as they are now receiving for the balance of their term, as per Senate bill #134. (Utah) B & C ROAD MAINTENANCE
