The Board of County Commissioners met this day in regular session in the Clerk's office, all members and Clerk in attendance.

Minutes of Equalization Meeting of May 29 read and approved,. Minutes of regular meeting of June 1, and minutes of Equalization meeting of June 19.read and approved.

Received from Jack Dumbreck $48.00 for Chev. Motor. Two dollars having been

deducted from the original price because pan was missing.

DEPUTY SHERIFF

Sheriff Norton stated that as Reed Larson had left La Sal it would be necessary to appoint another deputy sheriff for that precinct. It was moved by Rogers and sec-onded by Bartell that W.m. Shea be appointed to fill the position. Vote unanimous.

MONTICELLO TOWN ADDITION .

It was moved by Rogers and seconded by Bartell to approve the application of the Monticelio Town Board for additions to the Monticello Townsite as represented by a resolution and plats submitted by the Town Board Vote unamious. One tract is known as the V. C. A. Upper Townsite Subdivision. The other as North

ALMER CRAMBER Highway

At the request of the Commissioners, Almar Cramer appeared to answer to a complaint that he had allowed dancing in his place of business in direct opposition to the stip-ulation made by the commissioners at the time of his making petition for license to sell beer, and also to a complaint that he had sold beer to minors. Mr. Cramer denied that he had done either of these things. The hearing was continued until the regular meeting of Aug. 3, at which time Mr. Cramer is to appear.

APPROPRIATION George Palmer representing the Hospital board

asked that the Commissioners appropriate $2500.00 from the Liquor Control money allocatad to San Juan to the the San Juan County Hospital. It was unanimously agreed to set aside $2500.00 from said fund for next year. x •

SUMMIT POINT ROAD Reno T. Hansen, representing the Summit Point district turned in $150.00 to the County which had been donated by the citizens of that district to help pay for a large culvert which was installed on the West Summit raod. This was in accordance with an agreement made at the May 4, meeting.

LAND SALE: It was unanimously voted to sell to Jared I. Allen, the NW1/4NW1/4 of Section 21, Township 29 South, Range 23 East; at $1.00 per acre.

SALE OF TAX PROPERTY: It was voted unanimously to sell the Countys interest in some mining machinery that is on the Colorado River,and which has been duly advertized for sale for delinquent taxes, to R. M. Barrett. for the sum of $100.00 A check for the same having been received.

POUND KEEPER APPOINTED : On the recommendation of Karl R. Lyman is was voted

to appoint Virgil Eastin Pound keeper for the County.
