Minutes of meetings of Nov. 11 and special meetings of Nov. 24th and Dec. 30th, were read and approved.
John Lewis representing the Farm Bureau asked that the County help on the Rabbit Exterminating Program. He stated that it would cost approximately $1000.00. It was moved by Rogers and seconded by Bartell that the county furnish the poison and hire a man to mix and distribute the poisoned bait. Unaminious vote.
Clerk was instructed to write Dolores and San Maguel Counties, Colorado, asking their-cooperation in this drive.
Moved by Rogers and seconded by Sitton that the report of E. 0. Biggs on County Agents activities be accepted. Vote unanimous.
Mr. Hunt of the State Board of health and George M. Palmer, Chairman of the County Hospital board presented a plan whereby the hospital could receive State and Federal Aid . It was moved by Bartell and seconded by Rogers that the County set aside $1000.00 of the liquor Control money to match State and Federal Funds for the remodeling and equipment for the Hospital. Carried unanimously. Geo. M. Palmer was given the authority to make application for these funds.
Thelma Walton asked what could be done in regard to the hospital bill incurred by the Quigleys. It was unanimously agreed that this case would betaken care of from the Welfare Fund.
