The Boadrd of County ommissioners met this day in the Clerk's office, meeting commencing at lo:00 A. M. All members and Clerk in attendance.

MINUTES

The minutes of previous meeting read and approved.

LEGION BUILDING

E. P. Corbin, representing the American Legion met with the Commissioners and asked that they consider renting or leasing to the Legion a piece of ground at the Fair Grounds on which to place a building that they had aaquired and wished t o use for a Legion Hall. Mr. Corbin was told that the. Legion might have a place there if a suitable location could be found.

B& C ROAD

Upon motion by Mr. Sitton and seconded by Mr, Rogers it was voted to apportion the B & C Road Funds as follows:

Monticello.... $6100. 00 Bluff... ..$200.00

Blanding......$6600.00 East.....$7658.17

La Sal........$1500.00

County Road: Fund... .$10,000 to be used for a new Patrol

IRON BARRELS

It was voted to sell three iron barrels that chemicals had come in to E. 0. Biggs for $2.00 apiece.

ROAD BLOCADE

In response to a letter from the Agriculture Collge received by the Sheriff, ask-ing for Cooperation in preventing cattle rustling, it was unanimously agreed that road blocks should be placed at stragetic points along the interstate line to check truck.and other vehicles.

The Clerk was instructed to write J. A. Scorup and remind him that he had not paid his half of the expense of repairing the Indian Creek road as he had agreed to.

.The Clerk also instructed to write Eldon Rhodes in regard to a road that he had fenced up, and asking that he get in touch with the Commissioners or the County Attorney.
