The regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners commenced at 10:00 o'clock A. M. in the Clerk's office. N. W. Sitton, J. W. Crowley and the Clerk in attendance. John D. Rogers excused on account of being hospitilized.
It was moved by Sitton and seconded by Crowley that the lease on the office space occupied by the Soil Conservation be extended for another year. Carried.
special Minutes of meeting of April 5, and of/meeting of April 27 read and approved.
It was moved by Crowley and seconded by Sitton that Clement Johnson be made Chairman of the Fair Committee with Hyrum Porter as Vice-Chairman. They to have the priveledge of appointing the heads of the various sub-committees. Carried.
Motion to buy an Allis-Chalmers Model H D 50 Tractor Shovel with V type snow-plow, hour meter and oil pressure gage, price $9102.49 FOB Salt Lake from the Cate Equipment Company was made by Crowley and seconded by Sitton. Caried unanimously.
