The Board of County Commissioners met in a special meeting at 9:30 A. M. in the Clerk's office for the purpose of swearing in Leon W. Adams as a member of the Board 'of County Commissioners. and to reorganize the Board.

Mr. Adams took the oath of office before the Clerk of the Board.

It was moved by John D. Rogers and seconded by Leon W. Adams that J. F. Crowley be made the Chairman of the Board. Carried unanimously.

The Board agreed to purchase advertising on a calendar put out by the San Juan High School at $3.00 for the year and to purchase 4 calendars at 50 cents each.

The Board of County Commissioners met this day as a Board of Equalization. All members, the Clerk and the Assessor present.

Protests to Assessments were heard and the following changes were made.

Stephen P. Myers: - Notice 1120- Change valuation of 110 acres of improved farm land at a valuation of $10.00 per acre to 110 acres at $7.50 per acre. changing the total from $1100.00 to $825.00

La Ray Alexander:- Notice 1946- remove personal property in the amount of $280. Notice 1945 remove personal property in the amount of $100.00.
