Monticello, Utah Dec. 30, 1947

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in the Clerk's office to approve the budget for the year 1948 as set at a meeting of the Board on Nov. 24, 1947. Noel W. Sitton, John D. Rogers and Clerk Pearl Butt in attendance.

It was moved by Rogers and seconded by Sitton that the budget be approved as set up. Carried.

Mr. Sitton stated that he was in receipt of a letter from Weston L. Bayles asking what the Commissioners thought of a bridge across the Colorado River at Hite or in that vicinity. The Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Bayles that the Board was in favor of such a bridge.

The clerk was instructed to write to the State Department of Health asking why there was an increase in the county's portion of the Nurse's expense.

Adjourned to meet in regular session January 6, 1948.
