The Board of County Commissioners met this day in the Clerk's office at 10:00 A. M. All members and Clerk in attendance.
V.C.A.
Rex Smith , V.C.A. Engineer, met with the Commissioners in regard to a road South of the Elk Mountains. Dale Kinneman was called in to represent the Graz-ing Service. Mr. Smith said that the V. C. A. would furnish the fuel and men if the Grazing Division and the County would furnish the equipment to build this road. It was decided that the County and the Grazing Service would furnish the equipment.
Platte D. Lyman asked that copies of aerial maps be bought for the purpose of ascertaining the acerage of cultivated lands. He was instructed to try to find the negatives of maps taken for the A.A.A. and in casehe was unable to find them, he was to get photostatic copies of these maps.
Mr. Biggs discussed with the Commissioners the advisibility of placing an exhibit in the Field House at Vernal. Mr. Biggs was instructed to write for more detailed information.
H. Dee Galbraith made application to buy a tract of land near Blanding, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 1220 ft. East, 1287 ft So. amd 140 ft. West, of the North Quarter Corner of Sec. 27, Tsp. 36 So., R. 22 East, . thence south 33 ft; thence W. 250 ft.; thence N. 33 ft.; thence
e. 250 ft. to point of beginning
offering $20.00 for the land. It was voted unanimously to accept the offer and the Clerk was instructed to issue a tax deed.
The Town of Monticello presented a resolution asking that a certain parcel of land as described by written description and plats submitted be addmitted to the Monticello Twonsite. It was moved by Rogers and seconded by Bartell to

approve the resolution as submitted. Vote unanimous.
Jack Nielson paid $15.00 as half years rent on pasture on fair grounds
A motion was made by Sitton and seconded by Bartell that a warranty deed be issued to George Barton on Lot 1, Block 21, Monticello Townsite, pending the approval of the County Attorney. Carried.
