Monticello, Utah March 2, 1948

The Board of County Commissioners met this day in regular session in the Clerk's office. All members and the clerk in attendance.

It was unanimously agreed to authorize Virgil Eastin to change the arrange-ment of the flag pole so that it will be more convenient to raise and lower the flag.

Virgil Eastin brought up the matter of the county buying a power lawn mower for use on the Courthouse grounds. It was tabled until further information could be obtained.

It was moved by N. W. Sitton and Seconded by L. J. Bartell that the county allow $500.00 each to the towns of Monticello and Blandlng on the purchase of A fire truck, provided that the county be allowed to use , if necessary , these

trucks within a reasonable distance of the respective towns. Vote unanimous.

It was moved By Rogers and seconded by Bartell that Harry Knox, as purchaser of a certain tract of land described as follows:

was entitled to a Quit Claim Deed from the county', by reason of the fact that in 1929t this property was redeemed from tax sale but that no deed was issued. The clerk was instructed to make such deed.

May 29 was set as Final Tax Sale day.

May 29 and June 19 was set for equalization meeting days.
