The Board of County Commissioners reconvened as an Equalization Board this day as Arranged at meeting of June 11. All members and Clerk in attendance.
J. D. Gift appeared before the Board and asked that the cattle assessed to him be removed as they had sold all cattle. On motion of N. W. Sitton and seconded by J. W. Crowley it was voted to remove cattle from Notice 12, Line 12 as erronous.
Other adjustements were as follows:
Clement Johnson Notice 19 , Line 3 Change 11 acres of dry land @ $20.00 to 11 Acres @ $2.00 per acre.
Clarence Rogers reduce number of cattle from 190 to l50; 6 bulls, 34 yearlings. -
Chas. Redd Remove 642 slaughter lambs as erronous; Change 20 acres irriga gated land @ $22.00 per acre to 20 acres grazing land at $2.00 .in Lots 3 and 4 Sec. 36.T. 28., R. 25 E. Change 10 acres cultivated land to unimproved in Sec. 9, T. 29 S., R. 24 E.
Joe Redd Chnage 60 acres irrigated to 60 acres grazing Sec. 9, T. 29 S.,
R. 24 E. . .
Chas. Redd Raise the value of land, SW1/4, W1/2SE1/4, T. 29 S. , R. 24 East to $7.00 per acre.
A letter was rec eved from Kenneth A. Sherman, asking that the valuation of an apartment house in Blanding oe reduced. The Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Sherman that the State placed the valuations of buildings and that the Commissioners had no authority to change it.
