Meeting opened in due form, all members and clerk present, Wm. C. Walton officiating.
HORSEHEAD ROAD TO BE PUT ON BUDGET FOR NEXT YEAR
Max Johnson, Forrest Johnson and George Barry were present to ask the Board to gravel the Horsehead road to the end of mail route which is 1 mile south and 1 mile west of the Julius Harvey home. The road is used extensively for hauling mail and transporting children to school. They were promised that it would be placed on the budget for next year for state approval.
REMODELING TO BE DONE ON DOCTOR'S HOME
Dr. Boston met with the Board to ask that remodeling be done at the doctor's home. The needed changes are replacement of a panel under the sink, windows sealed or storm windows, and a concrete floor in the garage, painting of interior and exterior walls. Mr. Morris Nielson was asked to inspect the home and give recommendations as to work needed and prices of same. After Mr. Nielson's report, Mr. Bayles made the motion, seconded by Mr. Bartell, that the bid for work on the Dr,s home be confined to the following:

It was the unanimous opinion that the rent on the doctor's home be raised to $90.00.
SHERIFF AND DEPUTY TO GO TO PEACE OFFICERS' CONVENTION
The Sheriff asked approval of attending the Peace Officers' Convention for himself and Raymond McAlister, and also for expenses while in attend-ance.
Motion by Bartell, seconded by Bayles that expenses of $75.00 each be given the Sheriff and Deputy while attending the convention.
