Enclosed is a copy of "Request for Aid-Federal Aid Airport Program". This is for your information and consideration in budgeting for the County Airport Tax. You will note that the sponsors share is $10,328.00.
Our Engineers report that prospects for Government approval of this project are very good at this time.

PERMISSION ASKED TO BUILD HANGER AT BLUFF LANDING STRIP
A request having been received from Brother Juniper of the St. Christopher's Mission to erect at their own expense a hanger for the plane belonging to Dr. Lacy to protect the plane for from the weather and from vandalism, adjacent to the Bluff City Landing Strip, if it is in compliance with the permit received from the Bureau of Land Management, it was the desire of the Board to grant such request if in agreement with the Bureau of Land Management.
COUNTY TO CONSIDER GIVING AID IN BURIAL EXPENSES OF NEAL CHRISTENSEN, DECEASED
By agreement the County Commissioners considered giving aid to the Neal Christensen family for the burial of Neal Christensen, deceased. Mr. Christensen has been an employee of San Juan County for some time now. County employees will also be contacted for contributions.
MOTOR GRADER TO BE PURCHASED FROM ROCKY MOUNTAIN MACHINERY COMPANY
The decision of the County Commissioners as to the purchase of the Motor Grader, which, bids were received on August 10th, was given in favor of Rocky Mountain Machinery Company for an Adams Motor Grader, de-livery to be made on August 18, 1959, and payment to be made after January 1, 1960, interest not to exceed 6%. The motion was made by Commissioner Hazleton, seconded by Commissioner Walton, and carried.
CLERK DIRECTED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR INSURING BOOKMOBILE AND BOOKS
The Clerk was directed to make arrangements for insuring the Bookmobile and Books with Farmers Insurance,
